A Primordial Scream meets the Abiding Silence, where each trauma turns around and the rebound takes a lesson and carries on. This Rally Cry, a Proto-Call, arises from every interconnected cell in learning any injustice, encountering oppression or realizing we have HAD ENOUGH. That ‘Tipping Point,’ that place we refuse to “Not-See” what we know to be SO. It takes bravery to “call a Spade a Spade” — especially if one’s job depends on it. If that Spade has been masquerading as a sword, a harmless arrow or some other facade. We must begin with the messy unacceptable reality of things, and accept that.
This CRY arises from every household, neighborhood, bioregions, and other extended communities where Care takes place, where living needs are met, where Organic Intelligence occurs— this Shift can be recognized. For many, any disruption is traumatic, unthinkable and must be avoided at all costs. Lest we be forced to admit what we omit, commit or otherwise transmit what wants to be done. Best to practice the End of the World before it occurs, eh?
For some, the change will be more subtle. Their ways will not be affected tremendously if the trucks stop coming, the grid goes down, or the BIS determines viability of all transactions worldwide. Indigenous, land-connected and people who practice traditions which embody these practices are all around— yet they need support, we need more who follow these examples and establish viable alternatives to the destructive paradigm, corporations bound to share-holder interest at the disinterest of the Common Good.
